Kenzo: 1 Year Old

It's hard to believe a year has passed already. Happy Birthday Kenzo (and Summer and Momo too, but I don't have pictures of them right now)!
I'm really happy with how this guy is turning out, and the terrific home and family that he's got.

The Nihon Ken are Japan's 6 aboriginal canine breeds. They originated from dogs brought over by the Jomon and Yayoi , and have lived with the Japanese for thousands of years. They are the Akita, Shiba, Shikoku, Kishu, Kai, and Hokkaido.

As a member of the Nihon Ken Hozonkai (Japanese Dog Preservation Society), the Kai Ken Aigokai (Kai Dog Protection Society), the Japan Kennel Club, and the Dainihon Hunter's Association, my goal is to help preserve these magnificent dogs as stated in the original breed standards, with particular emphasis on preserving sound temperament and working ability.
