So I'm swamped with work, shows, and now hunting season has started. I've taken Baron out for a few hours, and yesterday we hunted a bit in the rain. We let the boar get away, but just as the day ended Baron ran ahead and grabbed something. He proudly brought me his prize.

Pay Attention To Your Dog's Signals
The Yamakagashi is a venomous snake native to Japan. We have a lot of
them around here, and while I don't actively look for them, I will kill
them if they're near the house.
A few minutes ago Goji was barking in her kennel, so I opened the window to see what was up. Always trust your dog's instincts and check out their alarms.

Ooyama Senmaida
The tiered Ooyama Senmaida rice fields in Kamogawa are lit up during the winter. I
caught the 5 o'clock chimes just as the sun set, the moon rose, and the
fields were illuminated.
It had been a long day, and it feels like it's been autumn for 2 years now. Winter is coming.

Hips
I've been taking pictures of a lot of hips recently. Wish they were of beautiful women instead of my dogs.
Bishome's hips at 3 years.
Goji's hips at 6 months.
Nothing too stellar here, Taka's hips were definitely the best Shikoku hips I've seen so far (that I remember anyway). Bisho's looked better last time around, but I guess that's to be expected.
